body bootcamp at the crack of dawn!

OMG...i totally woke up yesterday at 4:45 in the morning. i am nutso! i've never woken up on my accord in my entire life...never. i'm talking, set my alarm and had my clothes picked out. all for the love of body bootcamp! seriously, i can't believe i actually made it to a workout at 5:30am!

i figured i give it a shot, and why not do it at the crack of dawn? i didn't even have a cup of coffee. i'm pretty darn proud of myself! i wondered why the class was so early in the morning. then, instructor said, "no better time to fit in a workout than when the men are sleeping and kids are dreaming."

i've got one class down, 11 to go. the bootcamp is an hour long class that meets 2 days a week for 6 weeks at a local park. and, i'm totally committing to it! yesterday's class was sprints, hill runs, stair runs, lunges, and push-ups...all in my fivefingers. i'm hoping these extra workouts will help me get over this plateau. my measurements have been at a stand-still for two months...ugh!

arm: 12 1/2"
waist: 30"
hips: 38"
thigh: 22 1/2"
body fat: 27%

i'd love if my body fat percentage was around 23%...fingers crossed!

anyway, i thought i was going to hate the bootcamp and regret missing out on my precious sleep. i was so wrong. it was awesome, and i can't wait for the next class. check this picture out...i look pretty happy at 6:30 am. don't you think?

oh, and did i mention that i was faster than the cute 17 year old girl with the fancy sneakers! y'all, i remember a time when walking around the block was a feat.

i'm still going to fit in crossfit workouts on the alternate days. after all that hard work, i think i'll take the weekends off!

i'm still going for daily bike rides. love riding with my little guy!
